Narrative + Support Materials: The Selection Committee will evaluate scholarship applicants based on the following criteria:
Fraternity Involvement: The level of involvement in Jonda Fraternity, including participation in events, leadership roles, and contributions to the chapter’s success.
Community Engagement: The applicant’s involvement in extracurricular activities or volunteer work, demonstrating a commitment to service and leadership.
Essays/Personal Statements: A personal statement outlining the applicant’s academic and professional goals, as well as how their involvement in Jonda Fraternity has influenced their personal growth. An explanation of how the Jonda Endowed Scholarship would relieve financial burden to pursue excellence in leadership more intentionally. There will be some method of presentation including but not limited to a presentation or interview (open ended) that will be kept private within the committee.

Estimated Timeline:
Homecoming: Scholarship Committee Report, celebration of previous Spring semester’s recipient
January: Jonda Endowed Scholarship first committee meeting.
February 15: Applications Open
March 30: Applications Due
April 15: Interviews of applicants (at least three)
April 30: Recipients announced by Committee Chair & informs Otterbein University of the Jonda Endowed Scholarship Recipient.
August: Scholarship disbursed to Jonda active
